Sepanjang hidupku 20 tahun, pertama kali ku menjejakkan kaki ke Temburong. Yang paling siuk di temburong ialah.............menunggu giliran untuk naik ferry selama 40 min yang queue nya nauzubillah panjang nya yang taim kami ngaleh ngaleh beratur ada kreta yang putung Q berplet lesen BX XXXX, KX XXXX, QXX XXXX X, KX XXXX yang kebayakan nya urang Brunai lagi tu. *sigh. Please people, be patient and wait in line. Takkan lari ke mana bumi di pijak... eseh, adakah tu perembahan atu... The rest of the trip was quite ok actually, with a quick stop here and there to, u noe, go to the toilet and stretching the ..... I mean, let me rephrase that to a better word to eliminate wierd ..... thoughts. Our life saver, Chef Hjh Pura. Without her, our tummy will growl for eternity. Her cooking is Legend. She's my mom's mother btw. ie my Grandmother.



We went to the newly opened Shopping Mall. "Lakas tah ke First Borneo.." nya amit laki. "Bukan First Borneo, i Borneo..." nya my dad. 2X5... 1 Borneo lah...

The second day, we changed our place of stay to The Colonnades Condominium for fun. Yea right... The truth is Marina CRC was fully booked and paid. Not just booked, P-A-I-D!
The first and most important thing that we did when we've arrived at the new condo is to get hold of a blanket and a pillow. Unpacking comes after that.

That's pretty much about our trip to KK. We didn't manage to go to the Times Square due to time loss in transferring condos and the second condo is a bit far from the city central. Although driving takes around 5-10 mins to reach central, it's really far for us to walk. I really enjoyed it very much. Can't wait for our next trip which in planning will be around the 3rd month next year I hope.

Something for today

Dear readers,

I know that I said I will blog again the other nite. So as a punishment, I shall perform harakiri. Goodbye world. *stabs a knife to the stomach*. While my soul floats to heaven, I was stopped and interrogated. A high and mighty voice asks "Amir Akram, son of Big, why have you committed such crime?" "I was too sleepy that nite", I answered. (What kind of answer is that?!) "Really? Ok, you may go back now." (What?!!!! Is that it?) "Wait?... am I not going to heaven?" "...in your dreams." "Excuse me?!!" "Your in a dream!" I woke up and found that the TV was watching me. "Stupid TV.."

Yo! Omaetachi~ genki kai?....(trying to change the topic) Yes I know, I forgot to blog the other nite. But, but... the bed looks so comfy and it was calling me, waving at me and I got tempted. I was just going to rest my body a bit but the power of the bed is not something that you can easily decline. And my lullaby was singing at that time. Yes, I need a lullaby to sleep. That lullaby is the TV. I can't sleep without the TV's on, unless i'm really, really, really tired. But hey, it sang a different tune every night. ahahaha... What?... I put the TV in sleep mode, okay. well, sometimes... if I remembered to set it... which I usually forgot. *sigh. Alright you got me there. So what?

Now for some real update. What I like to share is my first* trip to KL arriving at the new* KLIA. Well it's not quite new since it's already 10 years that it existed. But it's the first time that we, as a family, land/arrive at KLIA. Upon arrival, whoa?! Where am I? Did we took the wrong flight? Is this really KLIA? Yes and this is only half of it. After going through the aerobridge, there's this nice lady holding a sign saying that our bags at belt G. Since we're a first timer, we followed the signs to reach belt G when suddenly I remembered someone told me (I think it's Fakhriah) that we need to take a train to reach the bags. "Nonsense," is what my dad said. Turns out that we really need to board the Aerotrain to go to the next terminal. That's right, next. There are two terminals and I can't even compare the second terminal (smallest of the two) with Brunei's. So we went to the first terminal and found out that our bags were not there. It was at belt D. I take back what I said, that lady is not nice. Iatah tu nah, buat lagi airport basar-basar. Cemana bulih D jadi G?

Arriving at KL, after 1 hour of, I could say, pleasant ride, my first impression of Low Yat is ".....where am I? Gadgets Heaven?!" My first impression of Times Square is ".....where am I? Shopping Heaven?!" My first impression of Suria KLCC is ".....WHERE AM I?!! High-Class Shopping Heaven?!". The two things which I would buy first if I go to KL again is Burger King and StarBucks. I really miss the Mushroom w/ swiss cheese burger(ed.) and the Ice-blended cream caramel. *drooling* Anyways, here are some pics taken during our stay there.

New Look!

Tadaima~ I'm back~

How long has it been? 2 months? haha... As some of you might noe, I had an exam. HAD! Which means it's OVER. Wohoo!

Anyway, the new cosmetic changes, as promised, is caused by the addiction due to the sickness I caught while surfing. The fever hasn't run down and it still spreading. I hope it's not contagious. Anyone want's my AFV (short for Anime Fever Virus)? It's free you know. Just take it......

Omong kosong.....

Aku sedang membual masa ini... Jika kamu tak nak mendengar nya, ya sudah lah~ Buhahaha... Cawer~ Cawer~ Macam kicap cair.... Ahem.. Berpandukan kepada akta Jalan Raya seksyen B kurungan A, awda mesti memberi isyarat sebelum melakukan sesuatu semasa memandu. Sebagai contoh, Jika awda hendak ke kiri, awda mesti signal ke kiri dan juga sebaliknya. Jika awda dalam kecemasan maka gunakanlah lampu emergency dan jika awda hendak menggunakan telefon bimbit semasa memandu, awda hendaklah mengeluarkan tangan sambil membuat isyarat tangan seperti ini:

1) Pertama sekali, buat gengaman.
2) Lepas itu, keluarkan ibu jari dan jari kelingking untuk memberi isyarat kepada pengguna jalan raya yang lain bahawa awda sedang mengunakan telefon bimbit.

Jangan di buat ni pekara buduh ani... Kana timbak karang (as in shoot using a camera) oleh pulis. Ahem.. On to the real agenda, this blog may be on hiatus for a while due to researching for cosmetic changes to the blog. I will blog again when I found the right color and pictures for the new template. You know what this blog lacks? It's pictures. Lot's of them. So... will post them someday.... I hope...

Oh, Btw, DoTA 6.55 has been officially released. Grab it while it's hot here. The two new heroes are imba....

Anime Fiiva~

Anime Otaku Warning!!

My nearly-ending streak of updating my collection of Animes has came back due to someone mentioning a certain anime. "Vampire Knight mu yang ke brapa sudah?" "Ummm.. 11 kali? Lama sdah inda ku update. Jauh tia kali sudah."

Due to that, I surfed to one of my trusted website, ANN, to get the latest info about the above mentioned Anime. Well, before I surfed to the guaranteed and accurate website, I went to Baka-Updates to check for latest fansubbed info. From there, Vampire Knight is only up to 13 episodes so this makes me wonder whether has the anime stops production or the same case as KHR? This is where the first website comes to play. From the first website, you can know whether the anime is still active or on hiatus and up to what episodes has been released while the second one gives info about latest anime that has been fansubbed. Aaaannnddd Vampire Knight is officially On Hiatus. It stops at 13. T_T

Soooo...... surfing punya pasal, the Anime virus infected me and now I'm back to my old habit of updating + downloading new Anime. Inda jara banar aku ani... krg rusak lagi karang. Arara.... Oh, BTW, an update about KHR!, seems like my second guess may be true after all. We'll see....

C & D for Katekyou Hitman Reborn! Anime T_T

Fansubbers of the above mentioned Anime have been sent an email by FUNimation to stop subbing the anime as requested by the producers in Japan. Does this mean that no more KHR Anime? Yup!! no more free KHR Anime to download. T_T Well, as long as the Manga is still being scanlated, it's fine with me. Unless you're willing to buy the original DVD/VCD when it's out or someone is subbing it ilegally which I doubt. To be frank, it's not actually licensed by FUNimation, it's just that they were only asked to inform the fansubbers of the ceased and desist notice. [Read here...]

But hey, at least I have the latest best fansubbed KHR among the other fansubbers.

6.55 Beta leaked!

The upcoming beta release for DoTA has been leaked. I have downloaded the beta map and here are several modifications which were implemented plus a new hero for the sentinel. Yay! The mods are both sentinel and the scourge's level 4 towers will have a new look and added attack power, Ezalor, Keeper of the light, will have a new ulti which imo is much more better than the previous one and the new hero is called Captain Coco, Admiral Proudmoore, which is still work-in-progress since some of the skills have no damage at all. More screenshots and downloads can be obtain from here...

P.S. Hope all of the modifications will be implemented. Looking forward to using Ezalor in the official released map.

I CAN SEE YOU....

About 5 months ago, my dad iski about Google Earth® all because of hearing from his colleagues that they can see the top of their houses from the internet. arara... So my dad asked me to install the software and search the vast earth for our tiny house. Aku ani iski tah jua mencari rumah ku ani.. It's not that easy you know...eventhough I know Brunei-Muara like the back of my hand. Pui...macam banar, taim raya sasat..ehe.. We search and search but the moon won't float-float. At that time, Google's sattelite images only cover around Bandar and Muara port. Damn.. inda pedah-pedah ku iski. But now, Google have updated their maps and voila... I can see the roof of my house. Yay! sakai~ sakai~ Anyway, here's the image I've cropped from Google Maps®...

Tenglo~

If ur wondering what the title is all about, it's how some Bruneian (especially Kedayanz) pronounce talur as in telur as in buduh as in bodoh as in stupid as in..... better stop here. I think you've got what I mean. On to the main story......

This story happened last year. It was night time when my uncle wanted me to burn some songs for his new car equipped with Blaupunkt audio systems. That's right... testing how powerful the system can be therefore songs which are bassful was what I expected. He brought his friend with him to help him in choosing the songs.

Uncle : "Lai, rakamkan ku lagu lama-lama macam BPR, Slam, Wings. Buleh?"

Me : "Umm... Buleh eh, skajap ah aku mngambil tape recorder dulu.."

Uncle : "Bukan dalam tape, dalam CD.."

Me : "Aaahh, burn ke CD.. Skjap ah."

Uncle : "Sama lagu apa tu yang malar kana main kn d radio atu.. Yg lagu sweet child of mine durang capi-capikan..."

Me : "Ah atu yg bunyi nya macam live atu..."

Uncle : "Bui, apa nama kumpulan nya tu?" (Bui is his friend the one I mentioned earlier)

Bui : "Ah.. Anu.. Tenglo? Tenglo kh?"

Uncle : "Tenglo?! Pandai cakap kedayan jua indon ani..."

Me : "Aku search nama lagu nya dulu ah..."

Miraculously I found the page with the songs for download.

Me : "TeamLo ani kh?"

Uncle : "Tenglo kepala utak mu.... Tenglo, Tenglo... TeamLo jua tu.."

Bui : "Au bah... Lurus jua tu Tenglo... Bunyi nya kn sama bh dalam radio.. Hehe.."

Ofcourse I downloaded it to check whether it's the right song or not and it is.

Squatenpiong

The title is a made-up acronym for Squash/Tennis/Ping-Pong that is the three ECA's which I have/will be registered/ing for this semester and yesterday was when I registered for the first two. I may register for the last one but we'll see how tiring the first two can be although the first one is only for fun *cough* aiming only to get the certs. Nada deh, if I have the opportunity I might swing the squash racket once or twice just to get the feeling of it and then off to the tennis court. Yay!

It was pretty tiring actually, playing tennis that is, where much of yesterday's time was swinging rackets while most of it was practicing home runs and picking up balls. There was this time when the swing was like Tiger Woods' which results in a home run and one other time where the swing and the sound was like Maria Sharapova's but the ball didn't get hit. Arara..... Well, at least we have styles like the Pro's. Doesn't matter if the style is from a different sport. It is still from a Pro. Hahaha.. Saja.. mnyanangkn hati.. We played till around 6 and on my way back to my car, the ping-pong club was still active so I saw a few practices and my liver scratching-scratching to play. So I play lah... Due to that, now i'm itching to play ping-pong and that's the reason why I'm reconsidering on whether to register or not. "To join or not to join? That is the question!"

P.S. The Tiger Woods' style was me and following the home run is the salution to the ball.

Lambo

That's the song which he usually sings. He's an extremely annoying but cute kid whose name is Lambo. He wears this overall like what babies usually wear in a white-base-black-dot pattern with a tail (yes, it's a cow). Oh, not forgetting the horn which he use it to attack people. Eventful Week

Reminiscence of previous week :

Becoming a Fireman for (at least) one day.
Celebrating a (surprise?) birthday.

Once upon a masa, there was a fire at the back of my aunt's house which started due to an open burning. I was with my cousins as usual playing none other than the addicted game of DoTA at that time and suddenly we heard a strange siren which sounded like "Api! Api! Di belakang rumah amit. Laju lai padam kan". We rushed and took our gears (segala baldi, gayung dll) marching out of the house in a line singing "Macho macho maaan.... I wanna be... a macho man" (by Village people). It's hard to explain how the fire started to spread, so I've uploaded some pictures.

Next is about preparing a surprise birthday in which all of my relatives (on my mother's side) went earlier than us to our planned eating place to celebrate my mom's birthday. And of course only I knew about this plan, none of my family have the slightest idea about it. Forgot to mention that our eating place for this year is the RBC Airport Restaurant. Buffet YO!!!

Bad Luck! + Miscommunication

Hmmm.. I wonder which Anime is that from?

Yesterday I went to Kiulap bringing my laptop. Why? Because my laptop CRASHED!! Admittedly due to never shutting down every night (downloading Anime) + watching downloaded Anime which I usually connect my laptop to the TV + massively playing DoTA. It was something to do with the video driver getting crashed every time I boot my laptop. Anyway, the technician there asks whether I have installed anything new and I said no, only that I've updated from windows. So I ask whether he can recover my files and he said "I'll check first whether I can access your hard disk. If I can't then I have to reformat it whole." Then he started spouting something about how much data is inside and I confidently said nearly full. I sincerely said "I was going to transfer some of the files into my new hard disk but unluckily the laptop crashed." Then he started saying how big is it? Confused, so I said 1TB?! "Oh! the big one. I thought the small one where I can just replace it with your laptop." Then it came to me that what he was asking before about the size of the disk is not the size of the disk...... I mean, well, you know what I mean.

Later that evening, I was asked to scan a document and whadda you know? My laptop is in critical state and right now it's in the emergency room where the doctor is trying to recover it with scalpel and antiseptic. "Use other laptops if you must" as instructed so I used my older laptop and scanned the documents + adding some words into it as requested but I can't do the latter because the laptop doesn't have the needed software and the setup is in my smaller hard disk which unluckily is also unusable due to either someone dropped it which I doubt or something to do with the casing. So I have to borrow my cousin's laptop for a while which luckily have the needed software but I forgot to ask whether he wanted the document in a hard copy or a soft copy so I asked him and he said "what's hard copy? what's soft copy?" huh??? Apparently he wanted to email the document so I explained about soft and hard copy and suggested "why not just attach the soft copy and send it." And what did he said? "No need. Just print it for me." Oookaaay. Suit your self.

WD-40?!

Konbanwa,

A few days ago I've found a new Anime to download (Again!) but as you all noe, ksemua, I repeat, ksemua hard disk ku (termasuk External, Internal, Outernal, Upternal, Downternal dan yang sewaktu dengan nya) padat berabis macam nasi empet(nah, teingat ku pulang rendang ayam niniku taim Hari Raya. sia sia pun). Skali nya, gara-gara kn mliat Anime atu, membali tah ku hard disk baru. Yup! It's the one that I mentioned in the previous post.

While I was busy searching for new Anime to leech at the middle of the night, my tv was on at that time and the programme was a replay of ah-ha(TV3). There was this one really funny scene. I can't find it at youtube so I just lakonkan balik. It's not exactly the same but thats how I remembered it.

Ke Bumbung Kayangan

It's been awhile since my last post. I've been really busy for the past two weeks from going to functions to celebrating our unexpected win in getting 3rd place in the OGDC-UBD tech challenge. [Click here to find out more.]

There was this one day where it's like 2 big event's cramped in that day. At the morning(or rather at midday) there's a wedding at the chancellor hall. Yes, it's on Sunday and it's two days before the start of Science & Technology Week. I don't know how they manage to clean up and arrange in one day. On that afternoon, we had a function at around 4.(Makan2 Doa Arwah) It was boring. Had no one to talk to. Then I heard my father's conversation about a pick-up that is parking nearby. As usual, comparing it with the same type but different brand etc. Then I don't remember how it came to "what car is guaranteed to be looked by other people?" question. He, as in my dad, confidently answers 'Aston Mini Cooper'! That makes the 11th time he talks about that car to different people. *sigh* Moving on, at that night, my brother tais liur kn makan sushi. Since I was asked to pick my cousin from job around 10 pm at gadong, he, as in my cousin, also wanted to buy sushi. So he waited at excapade downstairs at 9.40 because my brother forgot to mention to him that we were aiming for the half-price on the train. (Note:Half-price starts 30 mins before closing)

Najib(my cousin) : Naleh sja ku laju2.

Das(my brother) : Sori, sori..

We waited downstairs macam orang palui sampai blangau. Ngam2 pukul 10 baru kmi masuk. Then, after we ordered, my cousin ani flirting2 sma pekerja di sana.

Najib : Ni Hao Ma?

Atu pacah kmi ketawa. Firstly, It's a Japanese Restaurant. Secondly, the workers are phillipines. Wahaha... Anyway, ia main-main plang ganya tu. So we went back home after takeaway-ing the sushis. At that day it's was like eating 4 heavy meals. Mind you that I ate breakfast that day. Ke bumbung kayangan...

Btw, I would like to congratulate two of my cousins. Happy belated birthday! Sorry that I can't come because I was busy celebrating AKA watching Kung Fu Panda with my friends. (Palui cerita nya ah! Kn pacah ganya inda parut ku ketawa.)

One more thing, I forgot to mention that I was busy downloading + watching Anime called Katekyo Hitman Reborn! and my Hard Disk is already at its limit(Mo~ genkai da~). Then yesterday I went to The Mall to see the ICT Fair. Since my Hard Disk is nearly full, I ask for the price of a new HDD(Hard Disk Drive). Inda alang2 I ask for 1 TB(Tera Byte equivalent to 1000 GB) and she came out with this, with this, with this... (I can't put it into words. It's so Ragat!) It cost around 400 Bruneian Dollars plus original casing and the brand is Western Digital, one of the top brands in making HDD. The heart-breaking news is that they only have one. Did you hear me? ONE! I really really really want that hard disk. Dare ga~ Tasukete~ Dare ga~ (Anyone~ Help me~ Anyone~)

Today is a happy day where my father terima sudah (nya orang brunai). So usually we, as a family, went out for dinner. This time it's at KJ where there're only us in the restaurant sitting and waiting for the waitress to come. (I think ada family makan kli d ujung pisuk a2 tpi inda apa lh). It really have become a silent place although the food taste great IMO(especially it's sambal chicken. Mmmm~ nyum, nyum..). Well, here's what I ordered.

Breakfast!

Today's breakfast is Tumpi and kuahnya kari daging(Cair lgi tu..). It's been a long time since the last time I ate @ Desa Cafe with my parents. Since it's saturday, we always buy Borneo Bulletin and my dream car is on the Highlights. To 'Father' of the GTR, thank u, thank u, thank u for making the Best Rugged-looking supercar there is(at least for now). Here's a quick peek on the car.
