Bad Luck! + Miscommunication

Hmmm.. I wonder which Anime is that from?

Yesterday I went to Kiulap bringing my laptop. Why? Because my laptop CRASHED!! Admittedly due to never shutting down every night (downloading Anime) + watching downloaded Anime which I usually connect my laptop to the TV + massively playing DoTA. It was something to do with the video driver getting crashed every time I boot my laptop. Anyway, the technician there asks whether I have installed anything new and I said no, only that I've updated from windows. So I ask whether he can recover my files and he said "I'll check first whether I can access your hard disk. If I can't then I have to reformat it whole." Then he started spouting something about how much data is inside and I confidently said nearly full. I sincerely said "I was going to transfer some of the files into my new hard disk but unluckily the laptop crashed." Then he started saying how big is it? Confused, so I said 1TB?! "Oh! the big one. I thought the small one where I can just replace it with your laptop." Then it came to me that what he was asking before about the size of the disk is not the size of the disk...... I mean, well, you know what I mean.

Later that evening, I was asked to scan a document and whadda you know? My laptop is in critical state and right now it's in the emergency room where the doctor is trying to recover it with scalpel and antiseptic. "Use other laptops if you must" as instructed so I used my older laptop and scanned the documents + adding some words into it as requested but I can't do the latter because the laptop doesn't have the needed software and the setup is in my smaller hard disk which unluckily is also unusable due to either someone dropped it which I doubt or something to do with the casing. So I have to borrow my cousin's laptop for a while which luckily have the needed software but I forgot to ask whether he wanted the document in a hard copy or a soft copy so I asked him and he said "what's hard copy? what's soft copy?" huh??? Apparently he wanted to email the document so I explained about soft and hard copy and suggested "why not just attach the soft copy and send it." And what did he said? "No need. Just print it for me." Oookaaay. Suit your self.

WD-40?!

A few days ago I've found a new Anime to download (Again!) but as you all noe, ksemua, I repeat, ksemua hard disk ku (termasuk External, Internal, Outernal, Upternal, Downternal dan yang sewaktu dengan nya) padat berabis macam nasi empet(nah, teingat ku pulang rendang ayam niniku taim Hari Raya. sia sia pun). Skali nya, gara-gara kn mliat Anime atu, membali tah ku hard disk baru. Yup! It's the one that I mentioned in the previous post.

It took me about 1 and a half day to transfer all the data into the new HDD and it's already about a third full. Hehehe...

While I was busy searching for new Anime to leech at the middle of the night, my tv was on at that time and the programme was a replay of ah-ha(TV3). There was this one really funny scene. I can't find it at youtube so I just lakonkan balik. It's not exactly the same but thats how I remembered it.

Ke Bumbung Kayangan

It's been awhile since my last post. I've been really busy for the past two weeks from going to functions to celebrating our unexpected win in getting 3rd place in the OGDC-UBD tech challenge. [Click here to find out more.]

There was this one day where it's like 2 big event's cramped in that day. At the morning(or rather at midday) there's a wedding at the chancellor hall. Yes, it's on Sunday and it's two days before the start of Science & Technology Week. I don't know how they manage to clean up and arrange in one day. On that afternoon, we had a function at around 4.(Makan2 Doa Arwah) It was boring. Had no one to talk to. Then I heard my father's conversation about a pick-up that is parking nearby. As usual, comparing it with the same type but different brand etc. Then I don't remember how it came to "what car is guaranteed to be looked by other people?" question. He, as in my dad, confidently answers 'Aston Mini Cooper'! That makes the 11th time he talks about that car to different people. *sigh* Moving on, at that night, my brother tais liur kn makan sushi. Since I was asked to pick my cousin from job around 10 pm at gadong, he, as in my cousin, also wanted to buy sushi. So he waited at excapade downstairs at 9.40 because my brother forgot to mention to him that we were aiming for the half-price on the train. (Note:Half-price starts 30 mins before closing)

Najib(my cousin) : Naleh sja ku laju2.

Das(my brother) : Sori, sori..

We waited downstairs macam orang palui sampai blangau. Ngam2 pukul 10 baru kmi masuk. Then, after we ordered, my cousin ani flirting2 sma pekerja di sana.

Najib : Ni Hao Ma?

Atu pacah kmi ketawa. Firstly, It's a Japanese Restaurant. Secondly, the workers are phillipines. Wahaha... Anyway, ia main-main plang ganya tu. So we went back home after takeaway-ing the sushis. At that day it's was like eating 4 heavy meals. Mind you that I ate breakfast that day. Ke bumbung kayangan...

Btw, I would like to congratulate two of my cousins. Happy belated birthday! Sorry that I can't come because I was busy celebrating AKA watching Kung Fu Panda with my friends. (Palui cerita nya ah! Kn pacah ganya inda parut ku ketawa.)

One more thing, I forgot to mention that I was busy downloading + watching Anime called Katekyo Hitman Reborn! and my Hard Disk is already at its limit(Mo~ genkai da~). Then yesterday I went to The Mall to see the ICT Fair. Since my Hard Disk is nearly full, I ask for the price of a new HDD(Hard Disk Drive). Inda alang2 I ask for 1 TB(Tera Byte equivalent to 1000 GB) and she came out with this, with this, with this... (I can't put it into words. It's so Ragat!) It cost around 400 Bruneian Dollars plus original casing and the brand is Western Digital, one of the top brands in making HDD. The heart-breaking news is that they only have one. Did you hear me? ONE! I really really really want that hard disk. Dare ga~ Tasukete~ Dare ga~ (Anyone~ Help me~ Anyone~)

Today is a happy day where my father terima sudah (nya orang brunai). So usually we, as a family, went out for dinner. This time it's at KJ where there're only us in the restaurant sitting and waiting for the waitress to come. (I think ada family makan kli d ujung pisuk a2 tpi inda apa lh). It really have become a silent place although the food taste great IMO(especially it's sambal chicken. Mmmm~ nyum, nyum..). Well, here's what I ordered.
